What is an internet “Cookie”...
It is a very small text file placed on your hard drive by a web page server. When you visit the Retiree Log-in page, your computer and our secure server uses a cookie that enables you to easily move through the on-line Retirement Statement service. We do not otherwise use cookies, collect information with them, or save data associated with them.

The cookie used verifies your identification to our system (user-name and password) to authenticate your identity and maintains the secure connection while logged into our system (session time). This session cookie does not collect any information from your computer and only stores information in the form of a session identification that does not personally identify the user. The cookie is erased when you close the browser or leave the secured site (closing the log-in screen).
